Dr. Howard Kaufman, MD, MBA, FACS

Dr. Howard S. Kaufman has over 30 years of experience in the field of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He earned his BS in Biology and Physics from Haverford College, his MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and his MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. After completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he went on to complete fellowships in General Surgery, as well as Alimentary Tract Surgery, both at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Colorectal Research Program at Huntington Medical Research Institutes, as the Medical Director of the Huntington Ambulatory Surgery Center, and as the Chair of the Department of Surgery and Chief of the Surgery Section at Huntington Hospital. Currently, the expert serves as Surgical Staff at the Avalon Surgery and Robotic Center LLC and as a Faculty member in the General Surgery Residency Program at Huntington Hospital, where he also serves as the Regional Medical Director of the Huntington Cancer Center.
